Our Story
Nothing brings people together like good food!
Nestled on the vibrant Blouberg beachfront, Salt & Sage is where exceptional food meets warm coastal hospitality. Founded in 2020 by partners Sarah and Esrie, our restaurant has grown from a local takeaway gem into a thriving 70-seat destination celebrating fresh, locally sourced flavors and artfully prepared dishes.
Chef Sarah Oldridge utilizes over 17 years of experience in top Cape Town kitchens to craft a sophisticated yet approachable menu, while Esrie curates an inviting atmosphere. From memorable dinners by the sea to live music, trivia quiz nights, and curated food and wine pairings, we invite you to join us where every meal is a masterpiece.

A few notes and caveats, that help keep the restaurant running optimally and ensure we provide you with the best experience we can.
CORKAGE POLICY
Corkage is charged at R85 per 750ml bottle of wine or bubbly, only 1 bottle will be allowed per 2 customers.
WAITING TIMES
Great food takes time. All our dishes are prepared fresh to order using the finest ingredients. On average, please allow up to 30 minutes for food preparation.
ALLERGIES
If you have any allergies or dietary requirements please inform your waiter before
ordering any items, so we can make sure the dishes meet your specific needs.
GRATUITY
PLEASE NOTE: Tables of 6 or more patrons will have a 12% service fee automatically added to your bill.

Such a gem! I needed a place to work but where I can bring my pup along without having to sit outside area in the cold. The staff was amazing with my fur baby and there is even a "dog menu". Fantastic place, definitely coming again.

Without a doubt, it's the restaurant that best cooks the meat to perfection! And of course, the beautiful plating is a spectacle to be celebrated. Creative DirectorI paid a visit for the first time this morning and it will not be my last time. The atmosphere was amazing, service was good, my eggs benedict was divine. However the true star of the show was that chocolate cake with cream cheese frosting. I have never been happier than that first bite. It was perfectly moist, not sweet at all, super decadent and I swear it felt like my taste buds were dancing. If for nothing else, I will be coming back for that cake. Definitely a must visit!
